David P. Norton

David P. Norton is President of Balanced Scorecard collaborative, Inc., a professional services firm that facilitates the
worldwide awareness, use, enhancement, and integrity of the Balanced Scorecard. Previously he was the president of Renaissance Solutions, Inc., a
consulting firm he cofounded in 1992, and of Nolan, Norton 7 Company, where he spent seventeen years as President. Dr. Norton is a management
consultant, researcher, and speaker in the field of strategic performance management. With Robert Kaplan, he is the co-creator of the Balanced
Scorecard concept, coauthor of four Harvard Business Review articles, and coauthor of The Balanced Scorecard: Translating Strategy into Action.
He is a trustee of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a former Director of ACME (The Association of Consulting Management Engineers).
