Joseph Grenny

Joseph Grenny is co-chairman and co-founder of VitalSmarts, an innovator in corporate training and organizational performance. He is also co-author of three immediate New York Times bestsellers: Influencer, Crucial Conversations, and Crucial Confrontations. His award-winning training programs of the same titles have been used successfully by more than 300 of the Fortune 500 companies and products resulting from his work have taught more than 2 million people worldwide.

Over the past 20 years, Joseph has advised senior executives around the world. The CEO at Lockheed Martin credits his work with enabling their winning of the $200 billion Joint Strike Fighter contract.

Joseph has been featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post, and has been a guest on CNN, MSNBC, and the Today Show.

Joseph was formerly president of California Computer Corporation and an executive for the Covey Leadership Center. He also co-founded Unitus, a non-profit “microcredit” organization.
