Thomas S. Wurster

Thomas S. Wurster is a vice president in the Boston Consulting
Group’s Los Angeles office, where he is head of the office, and coleader
of BCG’s Media Convergence Practice Group. His practice is focused on
working with leading media and consumer products companies. He writes
on media and strategy and is the coauthor of the Harvard Business
Review
article, Strategy and the New Economics of Information, winner of
a McKinsey prize. He is a graduate of Cornell University, where he
earned an A.B. in economics and mathematics with distinction. He
received his M.B.A. with honors from the University of Chicago and
earned his Ph.D. in economics from Yale University.
