Clayton M. Christensen is the Robert and Jane Cizik Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School and holds a joint appointment in the Technology and Operations Management and General Management faculty groups. In addition to teaching and research, Christensen serves as a consultant to many of the world's leading corporations.
Formerly, Christensen served as chairman and president of CPS Corporation, a materials science firm he cofounded with several MIT professors. He was a White House Fellow during the Regan administration.
Christensen's publications have received numerous academic awards, including the 1997 Global Business Book Award for his book the Innovator's Dilemma.
Christensen holds a B.A. from Brigham Young University, an M.Phil in economics from Oxford University, and a MBA and DBA from Harvard Business School.
